It’s just about half passed noon on Tuesday. I’ve been sitting here at work lollygagging the day away, spending most of my time on YouTube. I even made my own entry on there so check it out peoples!!! Anyways, didn’t quite finish cleaning up my room last night. Just got busy trying to free up some space on my DVR for my weekly recordings of shows. However I was able to clean up a good portion of my room so not much more needs to be done. So far, I ended up packing two boxes to be stored at my Grandma’s house. I really need to head over there one of these weekends and clean out that garage. Also, I need to have a garage sale or something to get rid of unwanted junk. Well, it’s now a quarter til 1 and I need to run over to my warehouse to drop off some stuff. I’ll grab some food on my way back. Although I’m not that hungry right now….maybe as I drive over there, I’ll be inspired to find something to eat. I guess that’ll do it for today. I don’t really have much to say at the moment. Possibly more tomorrow.

So another weekend came and went. I again am here at work on a Monday morning trying to recall my weekend and determine if it was a good one or not. All I got to say is it definitely had it’s moments. My weekend started out pretty good. Met with some old chums at a Japanese joint in Costa Mesa. Some of you might have heard of it…I Love Sushi? Well, met up with my pals for our first “business” meeting. A buddy of mine came up with this business venture a few days ago and thought it was a good idea for the mess of us to get in on it together. I do agree that there is an opportunity there to be made so I think we all agreed to “do work”! Well, I’ll definitely keep you all updated as this progresses. Afterwards, one of my buds had to take off to take care of some business and the others and I went down to an old stomping ground to go shoot some pool. The joint was called Games Plus. I’ve been going there since high school. Haven’t been back since I was in college. Needless to say…nothing much has changed at that spot besides the help. So we were there for a long while…maybe too long for my liking but good times nonetheless. Then after, we decided to head back to my crib and chill. So that we did. Just hung out reminiscing about days of old. Oh…the memories!!! After a while of that we decided to call it a night. They left and I thought I would go to bed. Unfortunately that was not the case. I ended up staying up to 5 o’clock in the morning going thru and organizing my stuff. My room is still a mess. I am almost done but not quite. I’ll probably finish up tonight. And that was my Friday.

For Saturday and Sunday, all I really did was clean my room, laundry, and put in some quality hours at the video store. However, Sunday night after the video store, to my surprise…I came home to a full house. For the first time in about forever since, my roommates and I were all home at the same time and awake as well. So, I mostly hung out with Lidia in our new “office” chat chitting random shit.(“office”, meaning there is this loft area in our place that we are converting into a office area) Anyways, we were up and also was our newbie roomie, Melanie. She was still moving some of her shit into the house. Regardless, it was good times shared by all. Great “bonding” moment!!! Well, I was up ’til 4am last night. All I have to say that exercise balls are fun to play around with. It makes a very good dribbling tool to help you hone your handling skills.

Baby Chuck Norris then turns around to look at the doctor and then shortly after, Baby Chuck Norris proceeded to kick the doctor’s ass!!! That doctor has never again smacked a baby after birth!!!!

Another weekend is upon us. Here I am at work on a Friday afternoon slacking off of things I could be doing but more wanting to just leave and call it a day. Last night was quite an interesting night for myself. After a so-so productive day at work, I went to have some dinner with my mom and my aunt. Always good times there…I’ll get an update on how the rest of the family is doing and what they are up to. Then after, I was suppose to meet with a buddy of mine to go over some ideas he has for a business venture but that fell thru. It got a bit late and I decided just to head home and call it a night. However, to my surprise, I come to find out that I got a new roommate. Although I knew about this for a bit now but still…kinda caught me off guard. Well, went inside and met the new roomie. Not sure what to think of her just yet, but after the whole minute and a half that I met her, I definitely have my reservations about her. And so does my other roommate, Lidia. Well, after meeting the newbie of the house, I took some time to hang out with my other roommate. She had a friend over that was helping her construct some furniture she purchased for the house. Her name was Yasi. She’s a very dope chick. Also, she’s a up and coming fighter in the MMA world. So after a little while at the house chat chitting and watching them put some Ikea furniture together, we all decided to go for some food. Again we went down to Little Saigon for some late night Vietnamese food. Always good times there. There we sat, ate, and converse about the newbie to the house. Ultimately I think we came to a conclusion that the new roommate is a strung out stripper from LA. I dunno if our speculations are correct but in the terms of Jamie Foxx, she is very “crackish!” So during our late night dining, we came up with some creative ways to expedite her stay. Lets just say some are borderline cruel. But needless to say, we all had a great laugh out of it. So after eating, we went back home and chatted a bit more about things over some sweets and then went our separate ways for the night.

Now it’s about 1 o’clock in the morning on a Thursday night. Although it was late, my night was surely not over. I then decided to meet up with my bud, Jimbo for a late night adventure to stare at some T&A.(aka strip club) I figured, “why the fuck not?!” I’m single now and if I want to go look at some naked chics…that is A-O-K!!!!! So we planned on hitting up our normal haunt for one last “hoorah!” before they switch up the cost at the place come the 1st of the month. But by the time we would’ve gotten there, the joint would be closing. We immediately dismissed that notion and went up to COI(City of Industry) to check out a place that we haven’t been to in quite a while. Another reason why we went up there is because we knew we could get in for free. Free T&A is always a good thing. Anyways, we got up in to the establishment around 1:30 last night. So as we sat and enjoyed the “view”, we noticed quite a bit of change since we last were there. For instance, there was way more dancers on the roster this night than we could remember. Although, this grouping of dancers doesn’t really fit in my standard of quality for LA clubs but there was a “hood” charm to the place that I kinda dug. However, the one key aspect of that club that made my night was one of the waitresses that was on hand. Her name was Niki. On top of being damn cute, she was ever so nice and funny. To break it down to you all, this is why I found her so endearing… After every dancer does her bit on the stage, the waitresses would come up to the stage and wipe it down. I guess to disinfect the place before the next dancer does her thang. There was a total of 4 waitresses and a barkeep. Well as they were doing their duties on stage, Niki would comically start “practicing” her moves on stage. Although it was in total farce, she did however seemed that she knew what she was doing up there. Well, needless to say that definitely caught my eye. I found it quite adorable amongst the mucky muck of debauchery that was all around me. At the end of the night, she came over to us and sat down and chatted a bit. That’s when I found out her name and thanked her for the great time. I would definitely consider coming back to this spot in the near future just to see her.

That was my night in a nutshell. I got home around 4 in the morning and now I’m sitting here kinda tired and contemplating what should I grab for lunch. For the past couple of days, I’ve been hitting up the Subway for a 6″ roast beef sub. Before that, was good ol’ Chinese take out. Maybe today I’ll go for an American standard…the burger!!! Carl’s Jr…Here I come!!!

Today is a full day after a day without blogging. Honestly, I didn’t really feel inspired yesterday to blog about anything. I know I had days like that before but I was still able to post something. But for some reason yesterday was different. I had no urge whatsoever. Also, usually I would pop in and out of MySpace to check up on things but I only checked it in the morning and that was it. For the rest of the day I spent staring out my window and wishing I was not at work and that I was out and about doing random things. Not sure what I would have done but just for the fact that I would have been outside was reason enough for me. After these past weeks of rain and gloom, yesterday was the first day of nice weather in Southern California. It was not hot but yet the sun was out and the sky was clear. There was a slight chilled breeze but nothing too cold that a light sweater couldn’t remedy. Well, this was the second day in the row that the sun has shined it’s glorious glow down upon Southern California. Although, today wasn’t as warm as yesterday but still I was able to trek around town in a t-shirt. However, I know the nights will bring a more than familiar chill. Now here I sit as the hands on the clock near the 3 o’clock hour of the afternoon, I find myself again just staring outside my window wishing that I didn’t need be here at work today. I further realize that I’ve been reevaluating my current life situation.

It’s been well over a week that I’d sent my letter and well over a month and a half since I saw her last. I admit I still think of her frequently and wonder what her thoughts are. Now I ponder if my efforts were short received. Maybe there are more things I could do to find my answer. But then again, I don’t really want to put myself in that situation. I believe I’ve done enough but however I question my efforts. I did give myself a deadline. I know I should move on…I should…I will…I am…I did!!!! Well now I sit here assessing things and contemplating the type of girl I should go for next, all of the sudden I just got really tired.

As some of you might know that I live in the land of eye candy. Meaning, that most of the gals out there in my neck of the woods tend to be quite obtuse and fake. My roommate and myself came to a conclusion that most of the girls in the OC are pretty much poodles. I’m sure there are some nice girls out there, but from experience…I haven’t ran into any that had as much potential as my “crush” in a very long time. I might be living on my own now and have a job that I enjoy but I came from very humble origins. I’m really not sure if I can find a gal that can complement me spiritually, mentally, and physically. Most of the type of girls I run into where I live are über materialistic and cannot carry a conversation about something more substantial than the current mis-adventures of Britney Spears!!! I just want to meet a girl that I can relate to and the feelings are mutual. Where I can totally be my silly self and she’ll find that endearing. Someone that don’t mind getting down and dirty when work is needed to be done. More or less a low maintenance girl that looks very high maintenance. I guess I could only dream…

Here it is…another Monday morning at the office. I find myself a little relieved after my not so great weekend, I guess. Maybe 08 will be big for the Mike! Who knows?! It might just be a pivotal year in my life that will determine what kind of greatness that I’m destined for. First of all, I think I might switch up my style and develop a new look for myself. So I will need you all to let me know what works and what doesn’t. I will post pics of myself as this process happens. I will appreciate all comments…even the bad. So please be honest. No worries!! Also, I’ll be definitely open for any suggestions you all might have! But definitely I’ll take a new approach to things life has to offer me as well. I have realized lately that I tend to over analyze certain situations and plan out in detail the steps that I take to accomplish the goal at hand. Maybe I’ll take things and act on them at the spur of the moment. To as they would say, “Wear my heart on my sleeve.” Act a little bit more on impulse than logic. We’ll see where this leads me. I’ll try my darndest to step into an extrovert state of mind and be that social butterfly many of you think I am. Honestly, all this blogging kinda shut down my barriers and let me express myself more than I normally do. I consider myself quite a private person. I tend to keep my personal life only at arms length and never letting it out of my grasp at any moment. Maybe it is time for that change. Maybe to find my true happiness, I’ll need to do this. But definitely “never forgetting who I really am.” Words to live by that was given to me by a truly special soul that I am proud to call my friend.(Big ups to my gal, Jess!!!) Anywho, like they say…this is the 1st day of the rest of my life!!! DangIt!!! This better be good or I’ll be pissed!!!!!

After making the movie, “Sidekicks” with Chuck Norris, Jonathan Brandis was so depressed he killed himself shortly after he realized that he can never be Chuck Norris.

So, the hour has finally came and went. Can’t really describe the moods I’m in but here I am sitting at home on a Saturday night watching TV. Can’t say that I’m surprised or anything. Nor it can’t be said that I didn’t try either. However, ironic it may seem, as the clock turned the midnight hour I found myself watching a familiar program on TV…”Can’t Hardly Wait”. Hahaha…it seems suited that my night ended up like this. Not sure what else is in store for me now. Especially on the relationship aspect of things. Perhaps our paths will cross again. Until then, I will live my life as it intends. I will wake up every day and breathe in and out all day long and maybe…just maybe this void that I have will be filled again by that special someone. Well, I sure hope that happens sooner than later. Being single ain’t that bad but then again, it ain’t great. Being in a relationship definitely has it’s perks. You can always count on having a date on any major holiday and a partner in crime for any off beat adventure you might have. Most of all, you always have an ear to listen to you and a shoulder to catch your tears. It would have been nice just to have someone there to reciprocate all your efforts. Well, another chapter over and a new one begins. On the brighter side of things, I won’t have to worry about planning the perfect Valentine’s Day. In the meantime, I’ll definitely have to throw myself into activities to keep me occupied. I think this might be therapeutic for me. A chance for me to realign my bearings and get my priorities sorted out. Definitely a true hero’s trial.

Final thought…at least I know now that it wasn’t meant to be and it’s over. Enough is enough, there is only so much a person can endure.

I don’t know about all of you but I’ll admit freely that I am a YouTube addict!!! So much in fact that I made my first YouTube vlog yesterday. I don’t think my days at work would be tolerable if there was no YouTube. I’ll say I use it as a crutch to pass the time at work. The beauty of YouTube is that it has so much random stuff on there that you can be entertained for hours!!! That is spectacular!!! But nobody worry, I will still continue my regular blogs for all of you to read for your enjoyment. More than likely I won’t vlog the same stuff as I blog about. I guess we’ll see how things go. Well everybody, it is Thursday once again. What is it about the days now that gets me in this mood of discontent? Could it be last night’s down pour? Could it be the state of uncertainty in the world? I am not sure. Just being in this type of slump is very unappealing. Unfortunately, it seems that it won’t be phasing out any time soon. I keep trying to convince myself that things will turn out for the better but you all know how that goes. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Trying to stay positive seems like a winless battle. Where the more you give and give, the harder it gets. And as a false tense, every once in a while you’ll be blessed by a good day that’ll brighten up your spirits. Giving you that hope of better tomorrows. Fuck!!! Just a bullshit imposter! At that moment while you get this sense of hope, you then realize shortly after that the trials and tribulations that you’re fighting to overcome are still there. Take for instance the current presidential race, all of these candidates promises of better tomorrows and other optimistic mumbo jumbo like that but not really focusing at the problems at hand. I mean…Great! But really, the fucking problems that are present now are still there! From all the candidates that are running, no one has really given any solid solutions to anything that is going wrong in the world. How about mother fuckers get together and work as one instead “running for office”?!!!! Wouldn’t that be more ideal?! US Constitution states that the US government is by the people and for the people. In that case, isn’t that contradicting to state the fact that a president must be elected to run this country? I call shenanigans!!!! Either way, I’ll probably vote for Obama…WHATEVER!!!!!!

The past few days, I’ve been able to get a little more sleep than usual. I’m now up to an average of about 5 hours a night. I’ve been falling asleep around 2 am and waking up around 7 am. So that’s a little better. I don’t know when I’ll be able to get back into the habit of sleeping the recommended 8 hours a night. But then again, I was never on that habit in the first place. Maybe I’ll never will. None the less, I can live with that. Sleeping is overrated anyways!!!! I kidd…. No seriously, I’ve been able to accomplish a lot those sleepless nights. Hopefully as I run out of things to do at night, I’ll finally get some sleep. Too bad I don’t have any special human traits that can make it easy for me to be a superhero. I could be out there fighting evil-doers!!! Only in my dreams, right?!

On a different subject matter…it’s been a few days since I mailed my letter. I took into consideration of MLK day on Monday but she would have received it by now. I do wonder what her thoughts are if she was able to read it. Well, I’m just gonna give it a few more days and if I don’t hear back from her then I’ll know it was never meant to be.
